I'm suggesting 100 Power and 100 Contact are hallucinations. Abnormally high ratings, particularly a bunch of 99s and 100s, seem to indicate hugely inaccurate scouting on a player. I'd be curious to see what their post-draft currents are. I'm betting projections for the C, especially, are way off.

Yea, so who would you pick?

Probably the DH because of the much-better Eye and the higher likelihood that he'll at least be a solid defensive catcher even if the hit ratings are way off.

Range. It's always range when you see something like that.

I take the C due to VR. Even if he's a failed C, you are in the AL. Say he only comes out 80/80 in C/P but still hits 70 VR. That's a solid DH.

Anyone know whether the second player being listed as DH indicates bad projections for his aparently good defense?

This. It's always range when an otherwise good C is listed as a DH.

I'm leaning towards the catcher, won't have as many PB and the contact/power combined with a decent vsR....plus it seems like he will play more games although his health is a question
