Do the 4 or so In season scouting reports mean anything for potential? Do these players have good potential? I might've actually gotten one player I could be interested in if his potential were above average.

No means nothing. You might get lucky and recruit is green to you next season. If you are lucky that way have to send face to face to get recruit to sign with your school.

If you look at the role rating of these recruits, more times than not they are not really worthy of recruiting the next season.
