Does this message from an assistant coach have any real meaning?

(Player’s name) may be coming around. We have a good shot at him. This kid seems to be pretty open about how close to home he is for college, but he does seem to really like (another school).

The messages you get after signing after offering a scholarship are the best indicator of if you are winning or losing a recruiting campaign. That being said - this statement means you probably have them 'yellow'... and probably are trailing.

Depending on the school and the ratios of male to females enrolled that could be a great class.
