Progressives are in my opinion the best leagues here. You get a team and each player progresses one season at a time. So for instance one of the leagues I run is about to start the 82-83 season. So each owner has a team fully comprised of players from that season. After the season is over, we will have a draft with players entering the sim in the 83-84 season.

So it's like being the GM of a team. You get to cut players, draft players, and trade players.

I currently run two different progressives. If you would like to be added to a wait list I can give you first dibs when a team becomes available.

What? No it's simleague basketball, but it's a theme league not an open league. The theme is that everyone is from the same season and the league progresses just one season at a time.

Pretty sure you're just trolling me at this point, but on the small chance you are not:

I have seen you in open leagues so I know you know what simleague basketball is. Since you are posting on this thread, I know you know how to work the forums and have access to both the theme league classifieds and the theme league forum.

Theme leagues are simply open leagues with different rules. The rules are determined by whoever sets up the league. I am the commissioner of two progressive leagues which as stated above are leagues with everybody from one season progressing one season at a time. If you are interested, send me a sitemail. A team probably just opened up in a league about to start.

Not trolling. Just trying to remember if the progressive sim leagues you speak of are the ones that I used to do on nbaboards before they went down. Even won the last championship before so.

That's one of the best things I've heard all day.
6/29/2016 11:55 PM
Nevermind. I got it. I used to do those a lot and won a title on nbaboards before they went down. That one was easy to earn money and develop your players. I did another one on another board and that one just took up too much time and effort to earn money to develop my players. Those started at the 75-76 season. Wonder if there is any that started out earlier.

Didn't mean to be difficult guys.
