Want to clarify my understanding of this rule.

Players who ARE on the 40-man roster but NOT on the active Major League roster by the Roster Expansion deadline are ONLY eligible to be added to the playoff roster if there's an injury, correct?

I can't just swap players in/out from my 40-man to my 25-man before a round without injuries?

Anyone on the 40 at roster expansion is available for the playoff roster. Injury does not matter.

Has to be done before the series you are playing in begins (ie you can't change your playoff roster after game 1 of a series until you are done with that series)
