Build an NHL-calibre (whatever that means) arena equidistant from Saskatoon and Regina. Perhaps on a rail line, so game night trains can transport in the fans from both cities. Lots of opportunities to sell liquor on the train, too.

I'd call the team the Saskatchewan Golden Shafts, as a nod to the high-quality wheat produced in that province.
