Congratulations to coach of the year for D2: Coach Columbusbuck from Southwest Minnesota State
Columbusbuck is in his 8th season with SMSU and has them national contenders. To be clear its difficult for any coach building a team to be a national powerhouse especially with a no name program. "SouthWest State Tech college of the north" For SMSU they achieved there best season in program history at 15-1 (9-0) and ranked #8 in the country all due to coaching and recruiting. Much deserving! I predict this team to be in the final 4 for seasons to come if Columbusbuck stays. It will be interesting if he chooses to bring his talents to a FCS division full of legends.
