Effects of fatigue Topic

seeking opinions on the effects of fatigue on performance...

ive just joined a league where many teams have pitching staffs with less than 1300 IP in an 80 million dollar league, and less than 5000 PA.

1. Will this eventually "catch up" with these teams over the course of a full season?
2. How "low" can a starter's fatigue rating go before fatigue begins to affect performance? 90 ? 85? 80?
3. Same question for relievers?
4 . Same question for hitters?

Thanks in advance for any info/ opinion you can provide.

In general, hitters and pitchers can exceed their actual usage by 10% without a meaningful performance penalty. If the league allows AAA players, there shouldn't be meaningful fatigue issues if the teams are managed well.

1. By the 16th game
2-4. It's arguable. The 10% PQ astutely mentions is factored into the fatigue numbers we see. 99% is really on pace for 11-12% over RL totals. Generally, I'm not bothered by players (pitchers/hitters) playing down to 90, or 85 in extreme cases, and have seen success doing this. Some owners never let anyone get below 99, though, and see success that way as well. Regardless, the teams that will NOT have to deal with this will likely tend to be the successful ones.
