This is a new change that was just made in Beta:

Transfers/rescinded players will now contact up to 50 schools within 500 miles of their hometown. They will be automatically scouted at level 1 at that point.

that's a cool idea too bad I aint particpating in the beta next season. Don't mean I don't like it its just I don't have time for anything fake anymore.

Don't like this. Transfer / juco interest should be based on prefs, not geography.
