My team has a very concise strategy, which is to hit HRs and not give them up. That strategy translated to 82-80 last season. Hoping to improve on that.

C Darrell Porter (349) - .291/.421/.484; C/C+/A+; happy with the value for the draft slot
1B Todd Helton (91) - .372/.463/.698; A-/B-; for two seasons I skrimped on 1B platoon...not this time
3B Mike Schmidt (54) - .316/.435/.644; B/A-; star of my season 1 team
2B Buddy Myer (294) - .349/.440/.468; B/B; doesn't fit my strategy perfectly but I missed on my target (Utley)
SS Rico Petrocelli (102) - .297/.403/.589; A/B-; love his combo of power and defense
LF-L Bryce Harper (139) - .330/.460/.649; C/C+; surprised he hung on so long...big power in seasons 1/2
LF-R Milton Bradley (445) - .321/.421/.501; A/A+; good success on the short side of a platoon in Season 1
CF-L Roy Thomas (235) - .317/.417/.358; B+/A+; all about defense
CF-R Al Kaline (371) - .327/.410/.530; A-/A+; too late to pass up...might overtake Roy in the platoon
RF Ken Williams (150) - .332/.413/.627; C+/A-; another season 1 monster coming back home
DH-L Bill Joyce (198) - .355/.496/.648; same DH combo hit 28 HRs, 126 runs, 129 RBI in 785 PAs in Season 2
DH-R Roy Cullenbine (372) - .335/.477/.537; same DH combo tuned up the league at .326/.436/.520 in Season 2

SP Ed Walsh (6) - 495/1.42/0.86/0.04; #6 turned out to be the perfect landing spot to get my #1 target
SP Jack Chesbro (43) - 488/1.82/0.94/0.08; Happy Jack is a serviceable buddy for Walsh
SP George McQuillan (246) - 379/1.53/0.98/0.03; wasting his elite RP season but I want the innings

CL Hong-Chih Kuo (187) - 60/1.20/0.78/0.15; I look at 2010 and think about what could have been
RP Dale Murray (283) - 71/1.03/0.99/0.13; not the best, not the worst
RP Grant Jackson (350) - 60/1.69/0.92/0.15; earlier than I would have liked, but this is a RP draft
RP Jack Quinn (446) - 67/2.29/0.88/0.00; out punches his weight class most of the time

Sosa and Big Mac in particular were dogs in season one. Way to bring back '98!
7/23/2016 4:10 PM
LOL, yeah once I got Sosa, I particularly wanted to pair him up with Mac. I might have been able to get him without trading up, as evidenced by last years draft spot, but I didn't want to take that chance.

I have pretty much the same exact strategy as kyleb, with Mac, Sosa, Miggy, A-Rod. then 3 fingers and Cicotte.

By the way, a guy you forgot mac195 is McNally. I got him way late last year and he went way early this year.

How do you place a player into his secondary position?

For example, let's say I wanted to have Johnny Bench (who's been drafted, so nobody freak out) play 3rd base instead of catcher. How can I place him in the 3rd base slot on my draft center?
