Does Pitcher PA effect fatigue? Topic

In other words, will a pitcher get less fatigue if they have no plate appearances - such as with the DH? In real life I would venture that PA does factor into fatigue. You are running the bases in the sixth inning you get tired.

As it happens, pitchers fatigue is not affected by PA.

It definitely affects pitcher fatigue in live play.

You think so? I've never noticed anything, but maybe I just don't pay enough attention.

Yup, no doubt.

It's appearance fatigue though, not innings.

Interesting. Live is the same game engine, so that would mean it impacts simmed games as well. Never knew that.

Appearance fatigue is a generally extreme case, though, isn't it? I mean, we're talking about appearing in 3/4ths of the games?

uncleal, I believe what The Taint is referring to is better understood as "in-game" fatigue. I.e. A pitcher is less fatigued when they throw their first pitch of the game than their last

Hmmm, alright then. I never noticed this myself but I haven't played LIVE in a long time.
