I'm gonna try something different and bump it up a bit. Makes the #1 pick a lil more valuable. With the ABBAB draft, we'll see if it evens out. If that guy who gets the #1 pick is too dominant, we'll push it back next time again.

I think the decade theme is a cool exercise in nostalgia
and it brings back so many of the stars from the early years

All right coach, welcome! The draft order is totally randomly chosen. I use the NYS quick draw and your sign up spot. I get the 12 am numbers. whoever signed up 2nd gets the 1 am numbers and so on. I take the first five numbers for each top of hour, add em up, and lowest total wins the first pick. 2nd lowest total wins the 2nd pick, and so on....

There is no hurry to fill this league. I am going to be on vacation in Denver for the birth of my niece on Oct 11th, so we may not be starting the league til after that. Not sure if I could do everything on my wife's tablet, being legally blind and all, so I hope everyone understands it may be a while until we get going....unless someone else wants to take on the commish role and set up page one and everything for me (smokey/slamdaham?).

That would be GREAT slam! Looks like we might fill by mid October so I'll probably need your help. You can have the founder credit and everything if it comes down to that. It'll just be so tough for me to do it all if I'm not on my home desktop PC that I'm used to, you know?

The 50/60's is a tough sell...but it's the only way these players get used and the era is great. Even the progs skip this period. These guys caused the ABA/NBA to change the rules and the court. That said...maybe in the future we should drop this era and split the 3rd millennium...this would keep a DDL rotation (5 seasons) to about a year. What do you think....?
