I just had this guy go down for 17 days. I don't need him on my ML roster at all this year. Think he's a good candidate for the DL glitch at 25years old, 3 years pro? I have 20/20 med/training

Also, do I have to keep him there longer than 60 days for it to fully work?

If you don't need him then absolutely. You can keep him for the 60 to get the original ratings back and keep him for another cycle to gain more.
