I love these tournys that you put on schwarze, but i am always horrible at them. My problem is 2 things. I don't mind losing (look at my OA History record) and that is because of problem 2. I don't like using cookie cutters. I always use different stadiums and different players. I try to win the hard way and it doesn't happen much. I am interested to see how i do in the 70mil unpopular players league. That is up my ally.

Great job as always schwarze! No matter how many loses i have, i will always play.

wow, got my 1st and 2nd schwarze today in the (a day-night dh schwatze?) am and pm2 games....moved me up a full 15 or so spots in the standings......now looking for my first 0-6 tommorow, since I brought this up.

Has anybody ever gone 18-0 in one day? Two 6-0 sessions is probably pretty rare. (Sorry, it feels weird for me calling these "schwarze's")

To make it into round 2, you want to average at least 10-8 every day. I had an interesting 10-8 day today. 3-3, 1-5, 6-0. Some extreme emotions today...

10 games under .500, so my reasonable start is gone, and my $80M team is a smoking ruin as I feared, but two teams in 1st (one tied) and one team 1 game back is more than I was expecting from the rest. Lessons learned so far, and hopefully I can keep a couple of those teams in the playoff hunt.

My 140M pitching staff is being stretched more than I anticipated. It will be a juggling act for the duration. Extra inning games will be a staff killer.

17-7 over the next four cycles, back at .500. All is not lost yet ...

What a brutal stretch, which often happens after I post the standings. After 336 games, I was sitting at .595. Since then (in 36 games), we're playing at a .388 pace. This must be what the 2016 SF Giants are feeling (started 57-33, 11-23 since).

Just finished a 16-2 day. Probably my best ever in this tourney.

My first 0-6 cycle. Brings me to my low point of the season, just a shade above .500, looks like the big drop is coming any day now.

Finally achieved a perfect .500 record this am -- and then promptly went 3-9.

Yes, yes, unleash the jinx....we will no doubt fall from grace quite soon...

140M team is 20-13 on the road but 12-19 at home. I'm usually pretty good at picking parks but it definitely looks like I should've gone another route there

I really need to vent about the 140 mil league. The pitching stats are not making any sense. Have a look at my 4 starting pitchers - all AAA quality. All get bombed every game. The whips are insane. Kershaw has given up 27 homers in 87 innings. '99 Pedro has a 7.31 ERA. '96 Kevin Brown has a .323 opp avg. And my "ace" '95 Maddux has looked very un-ace like.

When comparing Kevin Browns in my league - all are '96 version. My 6.96 ERA is well, well, well behind everyone as is his 1.78 (!!) whip. No one is even close. Of all the '15 Kershaws mine has given up the most homers and has the second worst ERA and tied for worst WHIP. Of all the '99 Pedros mine has the worst WHIP at 1.71 and worst ERA by about 1.5 runs. I have the 3rd worst Maddux in ERA and 2nd worst in WHIP.

I'm not sure how all these guys can be so incredibly bad at the same time. It's not the ballpark - mine is -1 for singles and doubles (although positive for homers so that affects the ERA but WHIP should be helped by the negative factors). It's not my defence - we have the lowest (-) plays in the league by far and above average on (+) plays. Just about everyone in my 9 man bullpen has been much, much better across all stats so whatever IT is that is causing a problem it's only affecting my SPs.

I just got swept by a team that is/was well under .400. It's complete BS and it's making me insane. I have no idea how they are .500 as we seem to struggle in every game. Which would be the case since our SP is getting bombed every time out.
