Also, just look at the number of innings drafted by each owner for this theme (see the 140M analysis thread). See how many IPs the top owners have. You don't want to be on the extreme low end of this.

I drafted fewer PAs for my Dodger Stadium teams thinking I'd be okay in a pitchers park, but they're feeling it early. Hopefully the fatigue will balance out.

On an added note, this is a funny game. Had a team start 0-8 that is now 8-11 and in first place. Another team is 11-9 in last place.

My 110m team is the one getting murdered by pitch counts. Bad on me for picking League Park II (+2 for 1B) and only 1465 innings. I did pick A+ guys at 1B/2B/SS/CF and A range at 3B but they haven't saved me so far. Even with 22 + plays in 20 games, we are throwing 142.3 pitches per game.

after 34 games my overall is a very average .500. So having 4 teams in 1st place and 2 others only 3 out I feel very lucky. This season could easily go either way.

Let me now rephrase that question, suddenly still applies to my 2004 Red Sox team: How many teams in TOC history have been no-hit twice?

2nd Schwarze in as many days. Things are starting to come together after a slow start!

Schwarze generously seeded me at #22 in my first WISC. I'm having trouble living up to those lofty expectations, as I am barely above .500. My 110M team is underachieving and my 70M and 140M teams are struggling with stamina. I drafted 1550 IP in the 140M a little above average but a bit low perhaps. However, waitnsee drafted 1551 IP so at least I'm in good company. I believe the 70M team has been unlucky. 3-11 in one run games and TEN of the first 33 games went extra innings. I was very worried about the 100M team but they are holding their own and the pitchers haven't been bad. The bright side has been the 80M and 255M teams which are division leaders. I guess I can still dream about the cage.

Waking up to a 1-5 in the morning really blows.

But almost 25% of the way in and my worst team is only 2 games under .500. So far we're hangin.......

I've always wanted to compare everybody's expected win% vs actual win% and I've finally figured out how. I copied each leagues hitting and pitching stats into a spreadsheet and wrote the formula that calculates expected winning% based on runs scored and runs allowed. I then compared to actual winning%. I converted the %'s into wins. The following table shows who are the unluckiest and luckiest owners using run differential as the basis for expected. I could go one step further and calculate the "expected" runs scored and "expected" runs allowed based on the component stats, but this will have to do for now.

The following chart shows the difference between expected wins and actual wins each owner has, by league.
