looked at that post again. I thought the comment about third was interesting.

has anyone tried anyone like this at third base?

The other option is to play this guy at third and Powell in left. Or go out and get a better bat in left.

I generally have no problem finding a 3B/RF type. There's a lot of good hitting/bad SS types out here like Bailey (who prob came out as a SS) that end up as 3B or RF. So I usually don't put a below average guy at 3B.

What has scared me about 3b is this guy

10 plus and 1 minus is nice but 19 errors good for a .955 fielding% somehow?!? Maybe just an outlier year...

EDIT: So his career MLB 3B field% is .975 so hopefully that .955 was an outlier year. My park is +1 at 3B so that will probably play a role.
