A long-time solid league has caught the WIS virus and is in need of some new blood for season 35. A good mix of playoff teams and fixer-uppers are available. A sampling:
AL North - Middle of the pack with some talent so could either reload to contend immediately or go for a full rebuild.
AL East1 - Strong team that won division convincingly.
AL East2 - Finished strong and grabbed a wildcard spot. Some FA defections but in good shape.
AL South - Up and coming team with a lot of young talent.
AL West - Longtime power ready for a rebuild. #3 pick in the draft.
NL North1 - Middle of the pack team with mediocre talent.
NL North2 - Ditto but with one or two stars.
NL North3 - Many FA's gives owner free hand in reshaping roster. Very little money committed to future seasons.
NL East1 - .500 record but a couple studs to build around.
NL East2 - Non descript in every way. Make your mark.
NL South1 - Mediocre team but won a very weak division. Quickest path to the crapshoot that is the playoffs.
NL South2 - See above. Finished two games back. Prob a little more high end talent.
