Pulldown with the 40/40? Topic

There is a recruit I really want who is 1000-1200 miles away. Is the 40/40 + a ship a good strategy? He is ranked 175-200. I am of B prestige DII. Can I pull him down with 40/40? Should I wait until he drops down (if he does)?

EDIT: Or a CVs and HVs just better under 1400?

Neither of those will work for a pull down. You would need to use scouting trips. If he falls the 40-40 should work or the cheapest way is start and scholarship for $110. No need for campus visits or home visits unless you need to battle for him.

I've never gotten the 40-40 thing to work at the D2 level. I'm only 0-3, but all three times were with an A+ prestige.

He needs to drop down... Or you could end up getting nothing, some d1 take over 25 sts. I had one at 29
