I looked at him, but he was so awful when I had the Reds recently, that I decided to pass. And that was at Riverfront, not the Great American Homer Park.

Regarding leaving Tom Seaver unprotected.... I thought there was a good chance he wouldn't get picked. It was between him and Johnny Bench for the save, and I figured Bench would go to somebody needing a catcher.
