I'll hang up and listen when done. Didn't do beta and want to understand attention points better. Can you assign these points during scouting after you discover potential recruits or only during the active recruiting portion of the schedule?

You can leave them on the same players the whole time, or you can move them around as you feel necessary. You can often catch teams that have done HVs if you pile a bunch of attention points on for multiple cycles. They do not know if you are also doing HVs or using AP.

You need them to "unlock" scholarships, and once you unlock a scholarship, you may even need a few more to unlock home visits and campus visits and promises of playing time. But often, once you unlock the scholarships with Attention Points, you can go ahead and shift them to other players.

Attention points are like calls, letters, etc. You can not assign attention points during scouting only periods .. they are assigned during recruiting periods.

As chapel said, 'after scouting only period', when the recruiting period starts, Home Visits, Campus Visits, and Scholarship offers are 'locked'. You assign attention points to a player to 'unlock' those recruiting events. You can't just say to a guy out of the blue .. come visit our school. You also can not just show up on their door step to visit .. or offer a scholarship.

You must use attention points to unlock the different recruiting efforts.

Attention Points do still accumulate / add value to recruiting, so you may want to leave some on players who you have do a campus visit and all your home visits on .. as it is the only way to win a 'maxed out' battle where the team prestige is equal between teams.
