Welcome to the 18th season of Random Champs & Chumps, where owners build teams from a random pool of players, with the added challenge of having to pick 75% of the roster from teams that finished at or under .500. This theme tends to attract some of the better theme league players you will find on WIS so if you're up for the challenge, then bring your game face.

Each owner will be given four random pools of teams from 1954-2015. These pools are NL and AL leagues for a given season. For example, you might get the following draw:

NL 1987
NL 1966

After receiving four random leagues, each owner must choose one league to designate as their “Champs league.” The rest of the groups will be designated as “Chumps leagues.”

You may build your team using players from any team that finished over .500 in your Champs league (these players are referred to as Champs) and players from any team that finished at or under .500 in your Chumps leagues (these players are referred to as Chumps). Each roster must have exactly six Champs with the rest of the roster composed of Chumps. At least six players must be chosen from each remaining chump league.Players may not be twisted. You must use the players from the years you draw.

RULE UPDATE: If a player you wish to draft split time between leagues or teams, you may use that player's full season, even if part of that season was spent on a team not normally available to you in your draft pool.
