12-3, RPI 23.  Check out the troika of JR/Sophomore bigs: Gains, Dodge, and Davis.  It's almost not fair that they all play on one team and have another season together.  Davis' 111 OVR was the 3rd highest in the CAC.  Newcomers: Crittendon's got upside in SPD, LP, PE, BH, and P.  How high his PE goes will got a long way to determine his worth.  Cluff and Gilbert are low potential LP guys with good and decent bases.  Cluff has upside REB, Gilbert in ATH.  Both have upside in D which will make them better defenders than I usually manage to get.  Until Gilbert's ATH gets up, he'll shoot enough bricks that you could build a Little House.  Kerner is the star of the class.  Great base and high potentials across the board, including REB (he'll get over 60) and LP and PE (he'll get to well over 50 in both).

15-1; RPI 3.  Check out the overall ATH (60) and DEF (62); that good despite a walk-on.  Only 2 shooters, but they both have ridiculous 60+ ATH and SPD.  There isn't great REB here, but the ATH is good enough to compensate.  Newcomers: David Cornelius is a low WE guy with good potentials in the G skills.  He'll need PT to get the WE up to get the skills up to make him worthy of strutting his stuff down the Soul Train line.  Stinchcomb is the prototypical High ATH, High DEF guy that aejones thrives with; he's got some upside in SPD, DEF, LP, BH, and P.  That's going to make him a F4 caliber player, not a door Matt.  Last we say Welcome to the Rock.  Gerald's got a great based with big upside in BLK.  His base is good enough for minutes from day 1, but without ATH or LP upside he'll be more Nick Cage and less Sean Connery.

11-4, RPI 12.  The Bison's defining characteristic is their lack of defensive hole and importance of their starting backcourt.  Newcomers: Hugo Brooks has a very nice base, but only upside in SPD, BH, and P.  He should be able to shoot like Clockwork, but not so good to be mistaken for an automaton.  Chan has a decent base with a good WE; his upside is big in SPD and DEF; further Inspection shows some important upside in PE and BH that will be important to his long term value.

12-3, RPI 15.  Good rebounding and 3 great perimeter shooters.  RPI likes them more than the pollsters.  Necomers: Tillmon has a ridiculously good base and big upside in ATH, SPD, DEF, and P.  Recruiting Victor as a B+ is a Victory of koop.  Hardings a nice player (I like 20+ REB from a G) who will get to 60+ on SPD, but low passing will make him a nice 3rd G or part time SF more than a future President of the Court.  Rio has a nice base, but a low WE makes it hard to know many more points will flow into REB and LP.  I'd Parrot more about his attributes, but even though he's got small across-the-board improvements, I can't tell which has a lot more to grow.

13-2, RPI 8.  Elite bigs, 3 monster shooters, and good FT shooting are the story for Russell T's group.  Only 2 SR's makes them more impressive.  Note Yancey's +116 OVR, highest in the coference. Newcomers: FR Wilson is a low WE with an OK base, but what will be slow developing good development across the board.  His PE doesn't look like it will eclipse 60; we'll see it that gets in Herman's Head.  Erwin's a ATH/DEF guy who's got upside in SPD and DEF.  Crikey!  He might be one dimensional as a Defense Hunter, but that dimension plays.

10-13, RPI 74.  Only 2 SRs.  Only 1 70+ REB.  The Sophomores are a good quartet who shold get The Mount back to the NIT next year.  Newcomers: Maresca is hig potential in ATH, SPD, and PE.  With good enough DEF, BH, and P, he'll be a useful player and a bigtime scorer.  Rickie Scott has high in ATH, REB, and LP. He'll be solid if the LP gets to 70+, othewise it might not matter if you Lose His Number.

8-15, RPI 125.  Only 2 SRs, no JR's.  Greene/Ayers are a big combo that will rival CUA's Dodge/Davis twin tower combo in two seasons.  Baker's a really low WE G with a great base and nice upside in all the G categories.  He really should be starting at this point to squeeze every WE point b/c once he gets to 30 WE, he'll take off.  He's no Time Lord, but it's only a matter of Time before he may be the Lord of the guard skills.  Garey (not from Indiana) is an interesting SF with a good base and mad upside in PE, LP, and P.  Roche's base isn't quite as nice, but works as a RS because the upside's there across the board.  Neither he nor Garey have any upside in REB.

16-9, RPI 79.  Eric Carolina's LP/ATH/SPD combo makes him a big time scorer and a piece orbiting Sol's high-LP/ATH fueled dribble drives.  Team defense is the key, offsetting low PE's.  Also helping is the lack of any sub-C- FT shooters.  Newcomers: Mitchell's a fun one-- High ATH and SPD to a nice base; super high PE to make up for a sub-15 start.  He may not know nothing about making jumpers now, but he will as a SR.  Jenkins has a PG profile once he develop his high P/BH.  A decent, but unspectacular recruit.  Royall's the one closest to the Flush tank; he's low in an average base in Ath and low SPD; the skills have some upside, but nothing superlative.  He'll get as few minues as Grimes (Grimey to his Friends) will leave him, but not force any more.

3-12, RPI 192.  Tough schedule + shooting woes = lots of losses.  I don't know why Taylor doesn't shoot more or better.  Newcomers: It will be interesting to find a Place for Drayton.  He make get high enough LP to go with monster ATH/SPD to score as a -2 G; otherwise he'll just play the defensive stopper role.  His high ST actually makes it harder to line him up against other team's big scores since his sub pattern will be off.  Puig's another un-Yusiel one.  He's similarly PE-challenged and Ath/SPD blessed.  He'll need some sort of shooter next year unless cbriese totally doubles down on the D/ATH/-2 paradigm.  Johnson's more of the same.  Andreasen has ATH and DEF, but little REB and is short of elite DEF.  I don't know where/how he gets useful minutes on an NT team.

12-2, RPI 18.  This year: Could use one more perimeter shooting G, but really have all the pieces for a deep run.  The Davis/Dodge pairing is the best this conference has seen in a number of seasons.  The future: the two decent perimeter shooters graduate.  Allen will get there quickly, but Chaves WE/PE (his Chave-not categories) development is the most important perimeter piece.  The next elite big will have to be recruited; neither Gilbert or Cluff are more than fillers.

9-5, RPI 62.  This year: Good ATH, good DEF.  Totally reliant on Quinn for offense.  The future: Malpass/Newton will leave a void.  Good is… Good and will get better (high REB and LP, Med ATH), but not better enough and alone on the post.  The backcourt should be set.   Becker is the best FR (high in ATH, SPD, REB, P, BH, P!)... there is some Ted Danson joke to make here, but I'll simply: Becker TV show- Bad; Becker CAC PG- Good.  Barnes is the other most interesting profile.  He's destined for single digit passing rating which, however Noble his future 70/70/70 is SPD/ATH/DEF and SF-esque rebounding, is going to make him hard to play.

10-5, RPI 26.  This year: this will be an interesting run to the NT since brilliant RPI scheduling has him in but conference play so far has not been kind.  Cruz and Chen are becoming the shooters GU needs, but they aren't there yet.  The Future: I wish Caspar was Christophe so his future E8 capable core had all ethically-leading names (Chen, Chan, Cruz).  The one true FR (Brooks) is a monster.  Nice base and looks high about everywhere.  He's good now and is going to be hot, whether measured on the Celsius or Kelvin scale.

12-2, RPI 53.  The present.  I think Goucher makes it in if they go 8-8 in conference, they probably are a little under 50/50 to get there.  They could use a real SF, a better 3rd big and some LP.  It helps to have the most efficient PE scorer in the conference (Richmond).  The future: they really needed one more big with 70+ LP.  The G play and big ATH/REB is there.  Wood is the JUCO transfer who came in with a nice SF skill set and decent upside across the board.  Sawyer is a low WE G with upside in all the G categories.  It's unclear if he will make up for his low WE by tricking other people to help Whitewash his opponents.

13-3, RPI 11.  This season: Two inside, 1 outside elite scorers.  Some elite DEF, three solid rebounders.  Lack of a decent 4th option and overall passing and depth problems make a prolonged NT run unlikely.  Future seasons: Less returning talent than any other MW team.  He'll particularly need scoring, inside and out. Oden is the one true FR.  He's not the a God of War, but he's a guy you can go to war with-- high in ATH, SPD, and PE.

14-1, RPI 6.  This season: There's no Mellott on this team, but there are 3 very good outside scorers and one inside one.  The DEF is there and the ATH is to.  The rebounding has depth, but not elite.  I'd worry a bit that there isn't G depth against a good press team.  Next season: Culp or Young will have to emerge as Maresca's backcourt support.  Young is RS, so it'll seem like he's going to be at Marymount Forever.  Whether he gets to 60 on PE will determine if he's a nice PG or a true elite player.  Ray is a very nice FR big.  No upside on LP or ATH, but such a nice base in the big man categories and upside in SPD, REB, DEF, BLK, and PE.

20-4, RPI 7.  This season: Greene is a monster on the block; Ayers/Danforth are more than capable sidekicks inside.  There are three elite shooters for the outside.  I don't love this team vs. the press, but it reminds me of some of Edelman's best teams at Gallaudet with even more LP depth.  For the future: Roche is a monster at SF-- by any other name, his improvement would be just as sweet.  There is enough returning to make another deep run next year though the team's ceiling is lowered without the Greene Machine.  The only FR is a RS (Baker).  Far from a Butcher as a G, he's got a nice base and high potential in SPD, PE, BH, and P.  He will be quite the Jumpshot Maker as soon as next year.

11-13, RPI 103.  This year: there is a decent amount of talent here but not enough rebounding and PE to compete in the CAC.  Future years: there are only the 2 seniors and while they are not elite, they represent most of their rebounding talent.  Werner is a nicely skilled FR big, but would need a Ladder to be a difference-making rebounder.  Harper on the other hand has a decent base REB and mad upside (+15); that he has low starting points in ATH and LP are countered by high potential in those as well.  If he had come along a year earlier, he could have paired with Conklin to get this team to the postseason.  As is, his rebounding prowess almost seems Bazaar.

17-8, RPI 26.  This season: Chestnut Hill has taken advantage of the uptick in press effectiveness of late.  The ATH is off the charts and the LP leads to drawing fouls and generally making trouble.  With a little more SPD and P/BH, this would be a E8 team as is, they make trouble by playing their own game, particularly teams that lack the ATH or depth to keep up.  Future seasons: the seniors are replaceable, but no one from the lower classes can handle the REB burden that Webb and Scott have Bourne.  While not a Key to the team success, we'll see how that gap is filled.  Neeley is the only true FR.  He's not going to score, but pairs reasonably well with the LP all around him.

14-10, RPI 100.  This season: The problem with this team is the lack of any elite feature.  It's solid across the board, but not exceptional.  There is no elite REBer, the defense has some holes, no 80+ PE, no 65+ LP.  They are 81 on the projection report.  Hopefully they sneak into the PIT.  The future: They hole in the middle is large.  They return only 2 bigs, neither of whom is getting to 50 ATH.  Bryan will get to 80 REB, really needs a litte more athletic Twin to join him.  The one FR outside player does have much upside in ATH or SPD, but does in the G skills.  Not an elite player but one who will earn his time on the Florio.

21-3, RPI 7.  This season: Three G's who are 80+ SPD and 70+ PE, a shooting SF, and three useful bigs power The Hood's attack.  They are good, but have probably overperformed a little this year.  The future: there are only 2 SRs who are useful but not superstars.  This should be a legit E8 team next year.  There are no new players on the squad, it's a good thing the Sophs are special, particularly Connor who 's a Terminator on the floor and still might get better.  Flor also is impressive, but his lack of REB lowers his Ceiling.

10-16, RPI 69.  This season: a could of dud classes left the Deatheaters without a second star player to complement Nelson.  The lack of ATH for the bigs is particularly harmful.  The future: The five FR are an interesting group.  The key players are the low WE bigs: McLaine has upaside where it matters; his coach will use Terms of Endearment if he can get with WE up quick enough to reach his potential.  If not, maybe he'll Reincarnate as a higher WE player.  Burrow has a really good base (84 LP!) and is +26 as a FR, not bad for a 20 WE.  The pairing might struggle next year, but should be NT worthy their JR and SR years.  Complementing them is Breckenridge who also has potential to reach Exclusive Heights.  The FR G's are an interesting pair.  Radley's a stereotypical low ATH/DEF, but superfas-super skilled G.  Fenwick is more of an athlete, but has little D and needs time to develop his G skills.  A PG will be needed to pair with them long term.
