I chose #31 (Fireman), but another good choice for pitcher lovers is #23 (Petco's Pitching Paradise). The owner that had it did well last year (87-75) with a starting line up of 1910 Ed Walsh, 1913 Walter Johnson, 1995 Greg Maddux, and 2000 Pedro Martinez. In the BP, he had low ERA performers like 1970 Vida Blue, 1918 Jake Northrop, and 1992 Dennis Rasmussen. And he had in his line up a few folks that got on base a lot, like 1894 Billy Hamilton, 2012 Joey Votto, 1948 Eddie Stanky, 1990 Rickey Henderson, and 1923 Harry Heilmann ... Though I wonder if the $67M requirement for pitching may be a tad high at $100M (would $60M be more reasonable- Sandy Koufax, Bob Gibson, Christy Mathewson, Greg Maddux, Pedro Martinez, Roger Clemens, Lefty Gomez, Zack Greinke and a few others been potential draftees) ...
