The weekends are apparently a good time to do other stuff. I have always had time clocks for every day, weekend or not. In the ODL, Ben stops the clock and restarts it on Monday. I guess I would like some feedback. Does anyone have strong feelings one way or the other? My preference is once the clock has started it keeps running. If you know that you’re going to be busy for whatever reason, that is the time to either send a proxy or get someone to text you when you are up. I’m not trying to **** anyone off, I just want to keep the draft moving at a reasonable pace.

The 52 is routinely the slowest draft I participate in. Even when you do add the clock, rarely does anyone get skipped. I say keep it as is.

I think it's fine as is too. If I were to nominate one change, it'd be that if we hit the start of the second round on a Saturday or Sunday, the clock doesn't start until Monday in those cases.

Blaylock is probably a mistake because he wasn't even drafted last season but he is one of my favorites. I like his steals to TOS and PFs ratio.

He used to be a round 3 or 4 staple but has been seriously discounted due to a combination of recency bias and subpar efficiency. He does play an impressively clean game.

I used to make a pick and pretty much know right away who I wanted with my next pick. Now, it seems that the USS Midge is drifting aimlessly on the Sea of Confusion. Then it occurred to me that there are so many more good options now it just makes drafting that much harder. Or it could just be senility.

Not sure what to think of Billups-Butler-Russell-embiid.

embiid and Butler have some fun looking 23 seasons. I originally wanted to put Butler at pg but it just didn’t work out. I’ve never used Russell and I’m not really looking forward to his terrible efg. Billups butler and embiid should draw a league fta.

A lot of fun teams so far I probably like Jamie, ragged and chewies the best. Copernicus has an interesting group those bugs do fit well with Jokic.

You should ask Steelers how he’s doing in the Bowis 55 with the highest team defense I’ve ever seen in a draft league.

I'm guessing not great by the wording here. That's it, drafting all sub 50 Ds now.

Here are the standings in the Bowis 55. About half way through the season and steelers821 is just under .500 so not too bad. I don’t think either extreme of elite or poor defense is the right choice. You end up sacrificing other important parts of the equation. Defense is important, just not when you hurt rebounding, efg/ts%, TO’s and fouls.

I thought it was supposed to be sacrilege to say that having low assist% was hurting your shooting.
