Did I mention I have already passed the A+ and CCENT exams this year? And these are the new A+ exams, the 220-801 and 220-802 exams, which are a mofo to pass. I know since I did. They only good thing I can say is when it asked me to synch mail accounts for a job computer, home computer, and Iphone it at least gave me the port # for Imap. (143 btw, or 993 if you want secure connection...and you do. pop3 is 110, or 995 secure. you will be tested....) 6 questions on windows XP, really tired of seeing those.
You know when you read about this massive data breaches at retailers? Everybody heard of RAID arrays? As in Redundant Array of Independent Discs? Standard encryption algorithms with two key verification (threefish, a blowfish derivative, a vast improvement over AES, let alone moving up to 2056 bit encryption ciphers like my VPN uses)? Seriously, you break up sensitive data in to partial fields, encrypt it and stripe it across various hard rives, and very very hard to crack. Let me explain to you: EVERY SINGLE ONE of those breaches are INSIDE JOBS.
TNO : trust no one. Seriously, these companies are criminally incompetent in how they handle their data... and their employees for that matter.
Just thought you might want to know, and go cash as far as possible.
