How in the blue holy heck did HDS1 get to the bottom of the fifth round with only three players on his team - two of them essentially half-timers?

He gave up a lot to get Walton.

My draft went pretty much as planned (my plan started once I selected Worm)....

IDK what that means exactly. I know I havent used any players past the 16-17 season. (Admins were super late in releasing the 17-18 player pool. Probably the main reason I quit WIS basketball & didn't understand why we'd start a draft before the 21-22 players were released).

I've got pretty good Efg%/TS%. Over 40% Oreb. Over 90% Dreb. Enough assists. Not too many TOs. Not too many fouls.
2 90 defenders playing 37 & 40 mins respectively and a 28 min 90 defender. The rest of my D basically sucks. Not very many steals

I honestly have no idea how this team will do.

Hoping my desired bench players don't get drafted.

I have been 100% certain I had drafted a monster for this league and been wrong - I have meh about my draft in this league and still gotten into the playoffs - this league is a beast

this time around I am pretty meh

Dang! Cheick Diallo is the perfect guy to have behind Rodman! I almost drafted him, but I decided to go with Ward instead.

Already explained my reasoning on Jokic and Embiid - fun start.

I drafted Brand in the third round - probably a slight reach - because I wanted to ensure I locked down good frontcourt D to cover Jokic and also get a guy who could possibly rotate at the 4/5 with Embiid and Joker. Brand gave me that, and also the flexibility to possibly end up at SF if a good frontcourt player made it back in the 4th. Turns out they didn't, so Brand will be starting at the 4.

Getting Penny and Grant at the round 4/5 turn was a pretty big coup in my opinion; kept my defense above water while still getting me what I needed in other areas (rebounding, assists, and low towels). I don't think I could have asked for better picks there.

As my round 6 picks approached I realized I actually had a real salary crunch and couldn't afford the 3-and-D wings i most wanted. Connaughton and Konchar give me about 3/4 of a solid low-usage SG platoon, though, and I think I've managed to make things fit salary-wise. Unless my planned bench reserves get drafted in the last few picks.
