Is this league going to end when we catch up to real life?

After this year it would probably be smart for me to blow my team up, but it doesn't make alot of sense to try to rebuild if we only have 3 seasons or whatever.

My team is far to ugly. Based on his striking looks alone I pick C Sheldon Williams

I would imagine once we finish the 09-10 season (hopefully we can do so) yes that would be the end of the Davkar League unless we tried to continue it each season the new players come out. I just think that would be too hard to keep the continuity of the current ownership. However, I would imagine that if the vast majority of current owners were for some sort of continuation based on the results of this league (in some form) that we would simply start a new prog league. If we were to do a new prog league I seriously doubt it will solely be based on the 09-10 results although that will likely play a part in the inaugural draft for a new league. Just a quick thought maybe we start with the 1984-85 season and progress from there since that's arguably the greatest draft ever - meaning lots of great players to build a franchise around along with some intriguing established veterans? We'd use the 1-1-1-A to make up a lack of players/minutes. Regardless I have no problem with running another league as long as we can come to an amicable agreement. Obviously this is something we all need to discuss in more detail so I'd like to hear ideas/thoughts from the ownership.

I'm not sure about the other owners, but I have a feeling some are in the EBKL which is currently in the mid '80s. I wouldn't mind starting over but probably earlier or later than that.

Didn't this league start with the 89 season? Maybe we could just run it again. Or I suppose we could regress the league.

Yeah we started with the 88-89 season. We could simply do the exact same league again and I'd be fine with that.

Z, as you know either way would be fine with me as long as we kept the same integrity of the league. To me this is the most RL progressive league in the sim, real team names and such. We would have to work something out for how the new league would start. How could we base it off the 09-10 season? Where would owners draft?

I'm definitely down to continue. I'd rather it start over than regress. I took on this sh*thole of a team hoping that we would run it again.

Regressing the league would make teams like mine suffer for longer.
