So what are some of everyone's favorite songs?

For me in no particular order:

"Its a Heartache" by Bonnie Tyler. Bonnie was and still is Hot. imo Even at 61. Can't get enough of her raspy but sexy voice.

"Tusk" by Fleetwood Mac Think of the USC marching band when I hear this. Also like "The Chain" by Mac.

"Stranglehold" by Ted Nugent Back in the day a great song to get ya stoned.

"Silver Stallion" by The Highway Men. Willie and Waylon will always be among my favorites.

I know I'm giving out my old age by these.

These are just a few of mine. How about you?

I'm a young guy, so mine are much more.... Young. LOL

Recently, I've really liked the songs by Fun. but I wouldn't say they are my favorites.

I also have liked rap in the past, although I don't listen to it now. I loved Tedashii and Trip Lee (they are Christian rappers).

Classic rock has always been good too. I grew up listening to some of my dad's albums, so I really liked Bob Seger's "Old Time Rock'n'Roll." Also, more my time, was Michael Jackson, and he was a creep, but he was amazing. I loved "Man in the Mirror" and "Black or White."

I'd probably say right now, I'm really into the mellow, laid back sound of John Mayer and (especially) Jack Johnson. His music is just so easy on the ears and well written, I am always impressed.

Funny how our age group likes the same songs, I think I would add Willie and Blue Eyes Crying in The Rain and Night Life by Ray Price.

"She Had A Nose Job"(on a cardboard record attached to a Mad Magazine about a century ago).
It had a catchy melody as the guy sang:
"She had a nose job, she had a nose job.
And now it's turned up instead of upside down".

Love alot of the songs mentioned here. Especially love the Offspring, but my favorite by them is Self Esteem. Tool is amazing. Love Lateralus. Some others:
Enter Sandman- Metallica
Master of Puppets- Metallica
Peace Sells- Megadeth
Black- Pearl Jam
Would?- Alice in Chains
So Far Away- Avenged Sevenfold
Little Piece of Heaven- Avenged Sevenfold
Tonight, Tonight- Smashing Pumpkins
Outside- Staind

So alot of mine are mostly rock, but I also love Jazz, and country, also some rap, though not so much of that anymore. So some more songs I love in those genres:
Giant Steps- John Coltrane
Manteca- Dizzy Gillespie
Salt Peanuts- Dizzy Gillespie/Charlie Parker
All the Things You Are- Charlie Parker
The Thunder Rolls- Garth Brooks
Almost anything by Johnny Cash, but especially his cover of Hurt by Nine Inch Nails
Ocean Front Property- George Strait, etc.

So honestly, my musical tastes are definitely all over the map.

I feel like rap is a stage thing. You like it for awhile, then you grow out of it. I was that way.
