Introducing…the Random Pentathlon. The pentathlon is an athletic contest comprising five different events. The Random Pentathlon features five challenging random theme “events” - you will draft five players representing each one:
- Random Postseason Teams: Draft one player from each of five randomly drawn, nonexclusive postseason teams from the World Series era (1903-2012).
- Random Last Place Teams: Draft one player from each of five randomly drawn, nonexclusive teams that finished last in their respective leagues or divisions (1885-2012).
- Random Birthdays: Draft one player born on each of five randomly selected calendar dates.
- Random Years: Draft one player from each of five years from the SLB epoch (1885-2012) selected at random.
- Baseball-Reference.com Random Pages*: Five pages selected at random by the Baseball-Reference.com “Random Page” feature. Any player cited on Baseball-Reference pages for teams, leagues, leaders, fielding, etc., is eligible. *Player profile pages must present at least five (5) eligible SLB seasons.
RULES:
-$120M cap
-WIS Standard 24 team league (4/4/4 each league)
-No DH, WW, AAA, Trades, or Clones
-No twisting – random selections that are year specific must come from that year
-Injuries on
-Use any ballpark
-Live play okay, not required
