al, you go back 4 years, is that right?
so next year my national championship will be gone. I guess I'll need to win another (or come damn close) if I want to hold a lofty spot in this poll.
tell me at least that it was close between me and the queenman?

sorry, i looked back and noticed i asked that question last year. its five years worth.
ok. so, a good run next year could give me a shot. I guess itll have to better than endy-cott for a change. we'll try.

This PI appearance is gonna screw me for awhile.
1/26/2007 4:18 PM
It didn't hurt me. I went to the PI last season and with a good run this year I jumped 5 spots.
1/26/2007 4:29 PM
Just think how much you may of jumped if you switched that PI with a NT.

Wow, first time at the top of this list. It's a great honor, even though we would have preferred another title. We will be strive to make the NT next year after losing four seniors. Watch out for Roger Williams next season. They could climb this list pretty fast.

in the last 5 years i have a championship, an elite 8, and a sweet 16. yet i do not appear. time for revision to the system perhaps...

I think the problem is you have to make a tourny (PI or NT) in at least 4 of the past 5 seasons. You kinda found the loophole that could leave out a very good team.

Your Delaware Valley team has uneven classes. You have 5 seniors, 1 junior,4 sophomores and 2 freshmen. So, every other year, you have a young team that is very competitive but just misses post-season. That makes it tough to be ranked on the Dynasty list, which rewards post-season consistency.

NT 10 of the last 13 seasons with 2 championships sprinkled in. That is inconsistent? My team isnt a dynasty? PS - my roster is only setup so staggered like that because I took a couple jucos two years ago, not a permanent arrangement, as my stats show.
I and many others appreciate your rankings, they are fun and informative, but I am merely proposing the possibility they dont cover all the bases.

I agree that you always have a top team. Also, that my rankings aren't perfect. I welcome a different ranking system. It'd be fun to see how they compare!

Great list guys, glad to just be in the top 10. Bill/Endicott, thanks for the props above. Your run has been extremely impressive - I get to see it every season first-hand in the CCC Conference.
We are looking forward to this season as we bring back our top 10 from last season's team. Hope that it translates to the "court"! :0)
