130M league question

Can I use a player’s partial season in round one and a combined season in round two (same player, same year) or vice versa provided I follow the hr requirements of the theme?

When is the expected kickoff for the tournament?

Yep - I'm hopeful we'll have a schedule the weekend of Aug 10/11 and get games going on either Aug 11/12

Awesome. Im hoping for placing better than 92nd. The variable team was a blast to build. Im wondering how many shre the years I have.

I would like to give a big pre-tourney thanks to all the Commissoner's out there on this job.

I get tired head validating my roster, let alone 23 other teams.

It really depends on the theme. Some of them just take a quick glance, others take some heavy research of each team.

$130M: Calm Before the Storm
There are no restrictions in this theme except that you cannot use players from before 1920.

However, in Round 2 you will be required to build a 130M team for which you draft 8 hitters with greater than 500 PA/162 who all hit more HRs than your player with the highest amount on this team.

Similarly, all of the pitchers on your Round 2 team must have a higher HR/9 than the highest HR/9 on your Round 1 team.

I really hope everyone understands these rules. Just glancing through the rosters of the league for which I am commissioner, a few owners are setting themselves up for a quite a challenge if they make it to round 2....

I noticed the same, although I chalk it up to owners going all out to make Round 2, and then "dancing with who brung them", if they actually get there.

Should make for interesting reading in the strategies thread.

The strategies thread (both writing and reading) is my favorite aspect of this tournament.

My 130M team has a hitter that hit "X" number of HR in RL, but when viewing "Team Stats", the projected to 162 game season shows one more. He has the highest number of HR on my team. Which will count? It could make a difference on my 2nd build (if I make it). Thanks!
