NYC has two baseball teams. Mets and Yankees. Two Football teams. Jets and Giants. Had two hockey teams in Rangers and Islanders.

They have more teams so more chances to win titles. That is what I meant. Given that disparity the 13 titles doesn't seem like that big of a delta it should greater.

Where are their corporate offices? I believe the Jets is in Manhattan and they train in Hofstra, N.Y., so they contribute a lot tax-wise and financially. The Midgets might train in Jersey, so the Jets are the truer New York team
