I gave Jakotay a proxy..........I figured he'd post whenever he was ready to go live and I wouldn't be up again for a few days or so at least..........I've been sitting patiently telling you guys I was ready to pick for 3 months now. I'm in season, 1-3 and lost last night by 3. So I haven't been checking everyday,  was just waiting for Barkley to be posted. I should have posted it 3 months ago but figured that might be unethical or something.

Okay, I think that...

1) coach reasonably thought his place was solid and his selection had already effectively been registered.
2) The league took so long to fill that coley reasonably felt he needed confirmation from everyone, and since sitemails had evidently gone unopened he didn't want to risk the draft being held up indefinitely after such a long wait.

I propose that coach be reinserted in his original draft spot now, which is easy to do since the player he wants is still on the board.  I can withdraw from the league to open up a spot, and everyone from sappy on down to my pick just slides down one without really giving anything up.  I'll jump back into this league eventually, no doubt, but have been trying to give my spot away for this season anyway.

Does that solution work?

I'll withdraw my pick.  I thought we were on the original schedule.

It looks pretty clear that Barkley was indeed coach's intended choice.  We just need the commish's rulilng at this point.

Yes.....I think Barkley is one of the best deals for the money so I had him slated number 1 all along......probably the last guy to join should be out

Again, I'm offering my spot up for various reasons.  I just didn't want to leave the league hanging so had agreed to stay in.

I'm not gonna pick until jakotay stops by and we make sure this is all sorted out.

I was replacing coach by taking a second team, so I will just drop back to a single team.

I suppose I should have checked here first.  lol. 

The Barkley sitemail was cutoff my messages a month ago.  Enough to remember IRL already let alone something a month old.  Still my fault but I also sent out a draft without skips message 4 days prior to moving on.  I am not sure what more could have been done other than to check in more often.

I will read the rest of the posts and figure out whats best from there.  Still no skips for round 1 please.....

...and I do remember (now) coachcroft's message about Barkley.  I can confirm that is true.

Picks can be made without skips for round one.  THAT MEANS IGNORE YOUR SLOT TIME IF SOMEONE BEFORE YOU HAS NOT SELECTED!!!!  YOU WILL NOT GET SKIPPED- Just need to make sure everyone is still in.... no more last minute switches.
