Seems like I missed a lot. But I would remain anonymous too. People are crazy. What was the dude’s ballot? I totally get getting another vote for Rolen/Wagner/Vizquel since Jeter was a lock. But if he doesn’t have 10 players, then that’s bad.

I think someone sent in a blank ballot or it was a Marlins beat writer getting back at Jeter for his handling of the franchise.

What if it was a female writer that Jeter gave the herp to?

In all seriousness, if it's a blank ballot, it doesn't bother me as much, simply because, while s/he didn't vote for Jeter, s/he didn't vote for anyone less deserving either. I don't think people should have to defend their reasons, simply because if they're in the minority, they're gonna get blasted, ridiculed, harassed, etc., even if in their mind, it's a legit reason.
