Gotta love some of the first names in this draft.  GUYS like Tobin, Tuffy, Marion, Curley, Skeets, Ward, Merl, Gern, Elbie, Dorne, Fay, Cloyce, and Fern.  Men must have been MUCH more secure in their masculinity back in the 40's and 50's.  Imagine the fun schoolyard bullies would have with THOSE names now!


By the way, sitemails have been sent to foolish1 and freedom36 asking them if they are still in this league and if so, to catch up by the end of the draft.  If they aren't, mstar023 and I are going to take on the challenge of fielding a compettitive team for them.  Unless someone else wants that challenge--I'd happily give up my team.

mstar023's team name will be "Chattanooga Choo Choo".  How creative!  A RB named Choo Choo, driving his teams train toward the playoffs lol.  The famous song was released in 1941, just sneaking into the NDDL time frame here.
