A couple years Simmons/Murray will probably be the SG because of Simmons’ kooky positional eligibility. Gordon will probably get a few SG minutes in one of those seasons. Evans may actually cover a handful of SF minutes one season too. The post rotation will be a little different every season.

It is going to be all over the place. Oladipo will be playing his one season. McMillan will backup Kidd in 4 seasons. It will be a tough team to evaluate outside of “maybe fine”

usage is all over the place. Could be enough defense to hide Love.

I love to tinker, so this will be evolving as the season goes but here's what I'm looking at now.

I finally put my teams together. I still have some tweaks as well, and need to check that my starting lineups actually make sense, but to oversimplify it basically looks like this:

Manu x5 / Conley x3 / Rozier x2
Fat x4 / C Maxwell backing up and starting once
Harrell x5 / Mirotic x2ish / Hot Rod x5
AD x5 / KP x4ish
Wallace x5 / McGee x5

Despite having plenty of usage we are shockingly low on turnovers, with low fouls and really nice defense, especially inside. That had better make a big difference because in just about every other category I'm looking worse than last time around, with especially big hits to EFG and FTM. I feel reasonably good but if the TS just isn't there and I fall off a cliff this season I won't be totally shocked either.

My lineups look like this so far (amount of starting appearances are in parenthesis):

PG: Bane (2); Porter (1); Rondo (1); Pat Bev (1)
SG: Green (4); Looney (1); Bane
SF: Brand (4); Looney (1); Tillman
PF: Jokic (4); Drummond (1)
C: McAdoo (2); Jokic (1); Boerwinkle (1); Drummond (1)

The fouls are heavier than I wanted, but the tradeoff for rebounds and the number of possessions I lost with that before may be worth it. Brand's usage is a bit high for the middling efg performance but playing him as SF will help with rebounding and defense. Boerwinkle's one good season will start one time as a bit of a change of pace the other seasons will be fill-ins. McAdoo was drafted because when I looked at the players available he was the best player out there. I decided to not get too cute with the pick. I felt that I got much of what I wanted. Everything after Looney was designed to fill-in the point guard hole I had (thus drafting Rondo, Porter, Bane, and PatBev) and the other sundry of holes I could cover with some solid-performing subs.

My team sucks super hard at shooting. I guess it is kind of okay at most other things.

sorry no league #s out tonight like i had planned...didnt get much time to work on my teams over the weekend and i thought i could put everything together today...but i just spent the last 3 hours tinkering with lineups and running sim matchups and i think i hate my team now haha...i want another deep dive into potential lineups(hopefully tomorrow night, but definitely by wednesday night) before i give up and admit that lavine was a bad choice and i didnt draft enough boards

I was really close to drafting Luka in the 2nd to pair with Harden and I kind of wish I did. Not necessarily because I regret my build. Just because it’d be insane and I want to know what would happen with that pairing.

Yeah the biggest problem with either of those guys is finding a backup that approximates their usage, so pairing them together would have some benefits.

It is really hard when your team has one just obvious, glaring flaw... I just spend so much time staring at it.

That's why you should draft a team with lots of flaws
