The push for progressives is more than a liberal agenda. Is a power grab. Is about giving away in exchange for votes. Wealth redistribution. Socialism, at the expense of working people. Not just the wealthy. Is a sellout. They don't give a **** about anyone except themselves. They attend Georgetown dinner parties. Live in the Hamptons. We suffer so they can stand up there and claim they are doing it for us. No thank you.

Ted Kennedy was a liberal. But he would not sell out his country. He would work on legislation with McConnell and McCain, so we had a better country. This is different. Is a hippie mentality, with money and lawyers to make it happen. And a media, connected to all the right people, all too happy to help them every step of the way...

Don't Tell me I am not an American. That Kool aid you are handed is poison.

ok..you are not loyal.
5/16/2017 11:56 PM
They don't deserve my loyalty.

They work for us. Not the reverse...

Term limits. Mandatory wait times, or never allowed for politicians becoming lobbyists. But even recently some have done just that. Washington needs an enema.

No one will have an easy time draining the swamp. They like it the way it is. They have power. Media connections. They might make life miserable for someone who dares to change it.

Trump is no choir boy. He has issues. But he is not business as usual. He is a threat to them. If you were them, how would you react?

Does the memo even exist? The NYT admitted that they haven't seen it. Is hearsay. Someone close to Comey supposedly read it.

It could be valid. Or another instance of a pattern of unsubstantiated claims said to be fact. Sure seems to be lots of anonymous sources these days...
Yup, a lot of them from his inner circle. No-one likes the guy.
I have no idea why he hasn't cleaned house. There are plenty of people embedded that aren't loyal to him. No wonder there are leaks.
If Trump "cleaned house," he'd be left with just his kids and son-in-law.

From Ross Douthat:

Read the things that these people, members of his inner circle, his personally selected appointees, say daily through anonymous quotations to the press. (And I assure you they say worse off the record.) They have no respect for him, indeed they seem to palpate with contempt for him, and to regard their mission as equivalent to being stewards for a syphilitic emperor.

It is not squishy New York Times conservatives who regard the president as a child, an intellectual void, a hopeless case, a threat to national security; it is people who are self-selected loyalists, who supported him in the campaign, who daily go to work for him. And all this, in the fourth month of his administration.

Despite this blind loyalty to Richy Rich, not one person can explain how he has made their's or their family's lives ANY better since he's been in office.
I can think of a 1000 or so in Indianapolis at the carrier Corp who would disagree. but who knows maybe they did want a re-education center with a welfare check instead of on average a 30 dollar a hour job

You got an actual source for that being true? I remember Trump taking credit for that, I also remember there not being one shred of evidence he actually had a damn thing to do with any of Carrier's decisions.

Is that what you think the POTUS is supposed to do?

TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN ******* LIFE!

If you think the POTUS is supposed to improve your life while you sit on your ***, and make stupid comments on an internet board, YOU ARE THE PROBLEM.

you are clearly the problem...you hateful person.

Getting a Conservative appointed to the Supreme Court (in spite of the Libs' games) improves my life, my familly's lives, and everyone else's lives.
Knowing his stance on illegal immigration has slowed the flood of people into this Country. That improves my life, my family's lives, and everyone else's lives.
He's tried to end a money-pit Health Insurance program. It's dying on it's own for lack of providers, so even if it's not replaced, it will be history. That will improve my life, my family's lives and everyone else's lives.
I won't give him credit for increased jobs or better financial outlooks, but I'd still say he's done more for me in a few months than the Libs did in 8 years.
