Santana has done everything right in the spring, and his velocity is where it was before the injury, which is why I'm optimistic.
IF Santana does prove to be healthy he could wind up being traded  by the All-Star break to serve out the final year (2013) with a contender...his once-ridiculous contract is now just simply bad. ($137 million for 6 years)

Fair point. But I think his contract is so bad, that the Mets may have trouble getting any value for him. And if they're forced to eat significant money, they might as well keep him for the year.

Mets in first.

I feel like I had to put that in writing.

No way the Mets win 75.   They suck balls.

But you still might win the bet.
Team won 77 last year. I know they lost Reyes. But if they get a full year of Wright and Davis, and 25-30 starts from Santana, they can't win 75?
Well, you are getting a full year from Davis.  Not sure if that's a good thing.

Yea when I said "full season of Davis" I figured he'd play well.
