Def. finding my weaknesses. I'll get it all figured out soon. I made a stupid mental mistake first game of the season here and put my guard in the wrong spot. My team would be good if it wasn't for my coaching mistakes :) Hopefully I have it all figured out by the end of the season.

I think Longwood can make another Final Four appearance. Not sure if we win the title, but we will be disappointed if we don't make a late run.

Bvb, after looking at a lot of the top squads, I think you have made an impressive turnaround.

My final four predictions

Longwood
CSU Stanislaus
Seattle
SE Oklahoma St.

Other top contenders that impressed me (lets call them my Elite-8 picks)

U of Indianapolis
Northeastern St.
New Jersey Tech
Mercy

Humboldt St., of course, with 6 Srs. and 6 Jrs., is kind of a wild card pick. Not sold on their starting talent, but their depth and IQs could cause nightmares for teams come tourney time.

I returned 11 players from a PIT championship squad and had high hopes for my Bellarmine team. But, after falling 85-68 to #3 Seattle and 95-71 to #24 Franklin Pierce,  it looks like another long season in Louisville

Count IW as one of the teams that doesn't matchup with Humboldt St.  Licking my wounds from a 33 point beatdown last night.

I'll give a shoutout to bvb. He sure knows how to build a team. CSU Stanislaus looks like a force to be reckoned with.

Big game tonight between #4U Indy and #3Longwood.  I think my Indy squad might be a little overrated and could possibly get destroyed by bbunch.  Brown is a man amoung boys.

Our "man amongst boys" stunk it up against U of I. Good game.

F me. Thought my team was progressing. Forget how to rebound and shoot free throws and lose to an inferior team.

bvb, you still have a very strong team.  Hard to win them all.  I still consider you a strong candidate for a Final Four spot.

Very impressed with CSU San Bernardino's non conf performance. I feel like everyone overlooked them, and they're the real deal after looking at their roster.

anyone with 12 upperclassmen should be pretty good

TALES OF THE CELLAR DWELLER:

I was happy with a 4-6 noncon, especially with a 25 SOS. this first conference game was a real letdown, and my team still appears to be a few pieces away from even the PIT.

Not to brag.........but I'm going to go ahead and do it anyway....the CVAC hit the .6000 RPI Mark. If the season ended today, according to the projection report we would have 10 teams in the NT. Not too shabby! Conference play will be a bloodbath over here.

No one likes a braggard :)

The Heartland definitely got its fill of the CVAC, but at least St. Mary's TX represented the Heartland well against those Yarnell champs from Longwood.
