The thing about lefty 2B having advantages is just a joke referencing an old thread.  But yes, LH throwing 2B/SS/3B are going to have way more - plays than their ratings would dictate.  There's a reason why the sim won't recommend a LH thrower at those positions, and it's not just cosmetic.

You can probably search for threads - every so often someone starts a thread wondering why a certain player is making so many - plays with their good ratings - it's invariably a lefty playing an infield position other than 1B.

that's definitely a classic thread.  No way I'm reading it all...I just took the easy route and sent in a ticket.  I'll see what convoluted response I get from CS.  All I can find is speculation in the forums.

If, as you said, you actually played a LH SS at some point, you probably already have all the proof you need if you can remember what team/when - as long as it was more than a game or two.

I can't even find that.  Honestly I'm probably confused and thinking of the wrong player/position.

Look at league records for negative plays at those positions.  You're likely to find lefties.

First world I checked.  He has 4 of the top 5 in Mantle at 2B:

9 times out of 10, when the 2B Poor Plays Leaderboard comes up, you will see about 5 lefties leading the way, and it will usually be by a wide margin.
