It is a lot harder to get good teammates with some these players, I picked Dirk because he had some very functional teammates. Only reason I personally didn't take a Jordan season was lack of minutes from rodman's season with him and the lack of assist help

This is very similar to the 'Who Do Ya Know?' leagues we used to run. The mvp twist is interesting. First come first serve kind of stinks, though. Good luck.

Too many really good high usage really expensive players and not enough good cheap players. Won't be able to use some of the better players. It's a good problem to have though!

I was thinking which way to go on that to allow people to sign-up or make it into a one rd. draft. Is the player/season you would have taken already gone ashamael?

Probably the first one taken, 99-00 Shaq.

(fwiw: Shaq almost always won the who-ya-know leagues)

The low-ish cap helps make things somewhat balanced, but yeah, Shaq has the most top-tier options & ample support/role player options.

Remember with these rules he can't use probably his best teammate in Lebron as lebron was an MVP that season..

the cap definitely evens things out...but it might be tough to get those last few people to join...i would be ok with changing it to a draft...might be the best chance at getting it filled

Yup.
He was also in LA 98-99. And Orlando from 92-93 through 95-96.
And various other places for perfect complimentary pieces. boo-hoo, no lebron. No worries.
