Savage VIII Rosters/Commentary Topic

I use three different models for savage and all three said that it was too early for KG and Drummond. What can I say…the heart wants what the heart wants.

tarheel, ben, ncm and midge all with really nice starts. No way I would have went the Jordan route if I knew Payton would be available at my spot in the second.

Now that they are drafted, I pose an open question about Barkley. I wrestled with a few options, does Kidd feel like the best pairing for him? I also considered Pippen and Payton. Obviously, defense is a must with the second pick but its the what else part that had me going back and forth.

It's a fine pick, you have a nice rebounding advantage. I probably would have gone McHale as they compliment each other nicely imo.

Just noticed Shaq+Lillard. That's also really good.

Personally, I'd have tried Pippen with Sir Charles. But, if your main goal was passing and perimeter DEF, all 3 are great picks.

i love the kidd pick...but mchale/barkley were meant to be together in this league...definitely would have been my first choice

midge is on his way to a defensive powerhouse...loved the frazier pick

that 24th spot always seems to produce those types of teams...usually involving hakeem too

So I went with Ewing but Grant, Ginobili, and Brand were all in the conversation.

I'd love to play an alternate universe league with players you could have drafted but didn't.
