I don't know. More injuries is a pretty compelling argument when you realize it's being requested by a pioneer on the level of the first person wanting to abolish slavery.

Yes, us pioneers always are scoffed at in the beginning.

Berry Gordy hated Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On" album and had to be practically begged to agree to release the album. It became the greatest and most acclaimed album that Motown ever released.

These games for us mediocre at best owners aren’t free. I think there’d be some backlash if all of a sudden players started getting injured more frequently.

Under the old method, at every ten percent increase of team assist percentage, the team as a whole received a shooting percentage bonus. Under this method, however 72% was just as good as 75%, which was just as good as 79%. If you went up to 80%, the bonus went up and stayed at the same level until you hit 90%, and so on. Now, 67% is better than 66%. 88% is better than 87%. Every single percentage point raises the team shooting by a small amount.

It should have been that way the entire time.
