Missed Hunter's debut cuz I was busy watching Illinois put Maryland in their place at the Comcast Center. We had a nice group of Illinois fans and all the Md people kept booing us. All I got to say is win the game and we will shut up.

Hey ptt, I know Crosby is out. Did he get hit or is he still just having symptoms?  I bummed he isn't playing against the Wings tomorrow but if he is having symptoms without getting hit, it is time for him to hang it up.

The team won't give out too much info. The other day they claimed there wasn't one specific hit that caused this re-occurance of the symptoms.  However, he had a run-in with Krecji and also collided with teammate Kunitz.

I knew he came back too soon, I don't care what the doctors said.

That is too bad, he is such a pure talent. However, It might be time for him to retire just because I don't want to see him like many of the old football players and boxers who suffered to many head injuries.

He's 24.  It's a little premature to make a decision like that.

But there is a good possibility he's done.

I understand he is only 24, but I would rather see him have a long healthy life then have a horrible life after hockey.
