It's a classic 80s video.  Just thought the whole "shock" thing might not be your thing right now after your son's incident, but it doesn't sound like he needed to be "shocked" back to life.

The song isn't about an actual monkey.  It's about living life and "shocking" yourself into moving forward, not being afraid, etc.

Gotta love Peter Gabriel.  This, and Solsbury Hill, www.youtube.com/watch are why he was/is amazing, IMHO.
Oh, well, heck, I will watch it! I'm not too sensitive about this stuff, especially since he's alright.

When did this game turn into who can find the video for the worst song ever.  Please stop with the terrible music.

It was good night time music for ya.

I like how the video description says "early edition," like there was any other...??

1979.  6th grade.  Riding to school on the bus.  No other album was even being played.

This song, All I Can Do, My Best Friend's Girl, Good Times Roll, and Just What I Needed dominated.

When did those songs come out?  I thought all the good music started with Nirvana, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden and continues to the new rock band now a days.

The good music started in the 70s. I was born in '81, but I grew up with the music he's referencing. Don't get me wrong, I like a lot of early 90s rock, but todays rock does absolutely nothing for me.

1979.  God forbid any music before 1990 is even acknowledged.

Beatles....??  Who....?  Floyd...??  Led Zep...??  Stones...?? Hendrix...??

Anyone...?!

Only thing I like about old rock is they had some good lyrics at new rock groups redid and made better.

www.youtube.com/watch

www.youtube.com/watch

are a couple of good examples

If you can't even appreciate the originals, please don't praise the remix.

Same old argument with Eric Clapton's "Cocaine" and many others.

So...who hijacked this thread, anyway...??

80S Music Survivor was my favorite one to host... I made everyone that played watch an 80s video for each challenge .. It was great.

Pola, the worst was Blue Oyster Cult.  I re-watched Don't Fear the Reaper.  Made me remember that the lead singer was a puss.

"Seasons don't fear The Reaper, nor do the Wind, the Sun and the Rain..."

Classic.  Not many better suicide songs ever written, where the girlfriend commits and the guy writing the song doesn't.
