I think having a double DITR is a good idea. I have never seen one, except in this thread.

All of my DITR are usually 23-24 years old which is worthless. I hope guys like this become more common place, and that they stop making guys over 20 DITR.

I usually get worthless DitR....then again, i've never had a RL coach with 70+ ratings in hitting r pitching!

I'd love to see this guys progression.

no - that's the training bug reincarnated.

It's not the training bug. It's just how development works, only at a grossly exaggerated level due to the huge jump in his projections.

When Mr. Smith received his double DITR, his "physical" attributes (the ones that develop as a function of age, training, and distance between current and projected) were:

Range: 48 --> 90 (increase of 42)

Arm Strength: 37 --> 52 (increase of 15)

Power: 34 --> 84 (increase of 50)

In his first two rollovers since the double DITR, his progression in those three ratings has been:

Range: 48 --> 61 (+13) --> 74 (+13)

Arm Strength: 37 --> 40 (+3) --> 42 (+2)

Power: 34 --> 55 (+21) --> 69 (+14)

So we can see that for the most part they are starting to "slow down" the closer he gets to projected. I'm sure that we'll see even more slowdown after the next rollover in a couple of months.

Mr. Smith continues to improve by leaps and bounds.

Those are some pretty massive same year bumps. Especially since his makeup is only 79, not exactly stellar. I don't think I've ever had someone improve that much in 1 season.
