jay you've got a great team, that NCWC was a big win over an elite coach be very proud of that, you have a high possibilty of getting better than .500 too, and are going to have a great season.  The William Patterson and La Grange games are going to be great indicators, win 1 and keep the other close a S16 is a feasible goal.

Beating NCWC isn't much to be proud of this season. Not early on at least.

True or not, my kids beating a legendary coach such as yourself really raises the morale in the locker room! 

RPI of 8, SOS of 18, sitting at 6-3 and I can't get any love in the polls!!! I know it doesn't matter, I just have never been ranked so I thought it'd be cool!! Lol

There are an awful lot of undefeated teams left in D3.   

MID SEASON REPORT

What we learned about my Final Four Picks:

Ferrum  10-0   WIS #14  61|308

Scheduled a extremely easy schedule, even with a tough conf slate, 308 is really weak for such a talented team.  Their best win is against the 59th RPI team in a 27 point victory.  Non-conf really does not tell us anything more than we knew, they are still one of the most talented teams, and should show that during conf play as well as receiving a huge rpi/sos boost.

La Grange   9-1   WIS #7   12|69

A 1 point loss to 23rd RPI team is the only thing that held La Grange from a undefeated non-conf.  As expected speed is what makes this team very good.  Best win against the 17th rpi team by 10.  La Grange has shown the ability to play multiple tempo's.  Again relatively weak non-conf due to a upcoming brutal conf slate, so non-conf isn't going to change to much of my predictions

Redlands   10-0  WIS #2  2|19
I believe people knew TJ would have a good team(maybe not himself), but I don't think very many people had them making the Final Four like I did, however in non-conf they looked like the real deal.  Redlands hold two RPI top 10 wins(4,7).  An overtime game against a 150 RPI team is a little concerning, but probably helped TJ look at his team.

Another team with a weak non-conf, followed by a tough conf slate, makes it hard to evaluate.  Wins over 1st and 18th ranked rpi teams are very good.  The sophmores on this team are getting close to B+ IQ and are still developing great, meaning this team will be even better at the end of the season.  Going to drop them from the final four as they were my "last in" due to another team outperforming due to my mis-evalutation of them

Montclair St.  10-0  WIS #1  3|22
jdno has this team in top gear with a 20+ margin of victory this uber athletic team is crushing opponents, and has 3 top 25 RPI wins and 4 top 50 rpi wins.  Reese is a monster and noone should be able to stop him or even score much against him for the continuation of the season, averaging 25 ppg on 56% shooting, the 99 stamina is perfect in the fb/fcp meaning jdno can give him 26 mpg and not be to worried about fatige.  Expect this team to continue its elite level of play and carry them to the final four.

New NC prediction Ferrum over Montclair St.
Still think Ferrum is the team to beat and has the ath/spd to matchup enough against montclair and the depth to combat the FB/FCP.

Montclair is GOOD.

My (Ferrum) SoS is abysmal.  I usually schedule non-con tough, even in a hard conference, but I forgot to schedule non-con last season.  The SIM engine didn't generate much of a SoS so I'll be curious to see how we stack up in conference play.

Talking about "there is no way" - there is no way Rowan is the number four team in d3. I have some pretty decent speed and overall some pretty decent defense but what else I got eh?

I think you have a great team there ab. Maybe not top four but easily a top ten team in my estimation with all the upperclassmen you have. 

Top 10 I could live with top four seems to be overdoing it.

what a fall from grace at one point ranked #1 I have now lost 4/5 at St. Johns.  In my most recent loss, my third highest distro set at 0 thought it was a good idea to shoot 24 shots 15 being 3s but only make 4 overall and 1 three

Redlands travels to Santa Cruz tonight for a ranked show down.   The banana slugs have kicked the snot out of us the last few seasons....we're ready for some payback.

If you win, your team's RPI will be ridiculous. 

jeeze .74 right now and your headed on a streak of playing 5, 17, 25 rpi teams  ridiculous, more like unbelievably insane rpi if he comes out alive or even 2/3
