FIRST ROUND
Opponent : #2 seed Boston Celtics
Game 1: The Bucks played close with the Celtics, and miraculously sent the game to OT on a 35-footer from Middleton (a play that started with 0.5 seconds left), but missed a ton of shots in the last two minutes of overtime and lost 113-107.
Game 2: A pathetic effort somehow coupled with 60% shooting results in a 120-106 loss that probably should have been worse. "Jambari" Parker scores zero points in 10 minutes of play (with a -15 plus/minus). Bucks have 15 turnovers, Boston has five.
Game 3: No sweep for you! The Bucks show some pride and rip the Celtics to give Boston another home game. With Henson injured, Thon Maker is something of a revelation.
Game 4: The Bucks choke up a big first half lead, but come through at the end to beat Boston by two to even the series. The Bradley Center will see at least one more Bucks game.
Game 5: The return to Boston seems familiar.. Bucks fall behind big early, make a second half rally that falls short, and says a lot of stuff after the loss about needing to show up to play from the start in Game 6.
Game 6: The Bucks extend the series with a third home win over the Celtics, pulling away in the second half.
Game 7: Apparently extending the first round to a full seven game series was about all the team hoped to accomplish this year, because they didn't seem to care too much about the outcome of Game 7. Unsurprisingly, they did not win. The Prunty era ends. Hopefully the Jabari era as well.
