we put in a goofy HR team in the latest open league. lineup is:

C: York/Schulte
1B: Ruth
2B: Gordon
3B: Horner/Carpenter
SS: Stephens
OF: Ruth, Ruth, Ruth, Cravath, Keller

Total of 320 RL HR but all these guys but Carpenter will normalize well

pitching staff is all extremely HR prone guys from 2017 on, 342 HR allowed in 1351 IP with a 1.28 WHIP. We are in Coors, should be fun.

Love it! I’ve had two others sitemail me sharing similar HR teams after seeing the above bounty go down.

Love the 4 Ruth’s, Cravath, and the ‘17 pitching staff. Can’t wait to see how this one does.

schedule generated overnight, oh man did we hit the lottery on our side of the league. i've never seen so few deadballers in my life in an open league, this is going to be incredible.

My league has two astrodomes, a target field, and 3 Anaheim.

all full of deadballers too.

Did get one modern rays staff and a 22 Angels staff...but the latter filled IP with Joss.

Also got a Ruth team with a $15m staff, so hopefully i can have fun there

were facing a poor guy who joined WIS a few days ago and put together what looks like a decent first team, that's quite a way to be introduced to Sim Baseball. if you're checking the forums buddy, it will get less weird! also check the use in relief box for your starting pitchers as your bullpen needs a break.

Oh man, what a start! And poor new owner, definitely a rough introduction to the sim.

I put in a team hit 405 in RL, gave up 266, using a $30M/1.15 whip staff...I gotta start somewhere.

we faced 2001 Schilling in the pm2 game today

good news: we hit 7 home runs off him
bad news: Schilling still got the win!

39 HR for, 25 HR against through 6 games, we are 4-2

Amazing...

through 16 games we've hit 81 and allowed 58, with a 10-6 record

our hitters are all tired but I don't want to rest any of them in home games, so we'll hang on in the 80s and low 90s until an upcoming road series against an open league cookie cutter team with all deadballers
