No I was not kidding. I’m not always successful but I try within reason.
You are not going to see me compare someone to hitler because they think grudin should not be fired.

I really do try to refrain from being angry with people’s
opinions in a discussion.
That doesn’t mean that I can’t criticize people who do the opposite on a daily basis or get really disappointed when people don’t read and then spout off.

Just because I don't weigh lift or exercise or know how to fix my car or assemble bed frame does not make me weak. It makes me someone who rejects toxic masculinity. Male physical weakness should be celebrated

And strength is necessary IF you are a football player.

"Toxic masculinity" doesn't mean that all masculinity is toxic. It just means that sometimes, men do toxic things in order to be perceived as masculine. For example, men are less likely to seek mental health support because we're afraid that doing so would be an affront on our masculinity.

I agree Tang. As you imply, any man who doesn't admit to suffering from mental illness is either lying or toxic. Everyone should go to therapy

A simple apology that was from the heart and MEANT, and an admission that "...sometimes, I'm a dumbass jerk who lets his d*ck do too much thinking would (IMO) likely do the trick.

He COULD apologize, but that would require an actual apology. This wasn't one mistake. It was a series of mistakes, done over a long period of time, made during adulthood.
